Cheesy White Sauce Pasta Recipe | Easy Pasta Recipe

Hey everyone, how is your cooking going on? Today I am thinking to make my kids favourite white sauce pasta recipe

To prepare creamy white sauce pasta, first of all, we will boil the pasta I have taken two cups of pasta here approximately 200gms my kids call it pipe pasta this is actually Penne pasta, easily available in the market you can even use any other shapes of pasta take four to five cup of water in a vessel to boil pasta then add a teaspoon of salt and half a teaspoon of oil and mix it once the water comes to a boil then add pasta then mix it well

it is very necessary to add salt at this stage because pasta has no taste to it if you don’t add salt at this stage you would miss the chance to give flavour to your pasta so don’t forget to add salt at this stage and the second important thing is don’t put very much oil otherwise your pasta get very oily and it won’t be able to coat the sauce properly

I got this tip from a very big chef to not to add too much of oil while boiling pasta or noodles keep stirring until it comes to a boil so these two important tips I wanted to share with you guys you have to cook it on a medium-high flame keep stirring in between so that it doesn’t get sticky you have to cook it only 80% i.e 3/4th like this,

let me show by breaking one piece you can see a white ring on the corners it is breaking easily but it is still undercooked because we are going to cook it with the sauce as well in English it is called Al dente

once 80% cooked Transfer cooked pasta to a large colander and drain excess water to stop its carryover cooking we will wash it once with normal or cold water carryover cooking means, it retains heat and continues to cook even after being removed from the source of heat. then spread the paste in a tray or in a colander at this stage

you can spread some oil if you are going to cook them after a while so that it doesn’t get stick to each other heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan on medium flame you can even use olive oil or even butter once oil is piping hot add 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic fry it for 30-40 seconds then add roughly diced half onion

don’t use too much onion because we are going to add lots of veggies cook it for only 1-2 mins don’t make it too dark now we will add all the veggies today I am using a little bit of carrot then roughly diced half capsicum and a handful of corns sometimes I add more of corns because my kids love it you can adjust the quantities of veggies as you like

you can add any veggies you like other than I have added and the ones you don’t like, simply skip it there is no rule to use only these veggies at this point, you can even add mushrooms or chicken don’t overcook the veggies let your veggies be a little bit crunchy because we have to cook it with the sauce too

now I am adding a little bit of salt and half teaspoon of black pepper powder mix everything well now switch off the flame and keep the veggies aside now let’s make white sauce take four tablespoons of butter this is regular salted butter and keep the flame on medium so that butter doesn’t get burnt once the butter gets melted add four tablespoons of all-purpose flour and keep mixing on low to medium flame so that it doesn’t get burn we have to cook

like this for 3-4 mins until the rawness is completely gone it will turn little golden brown in colour you will get to know that flour is cooked keep in mind to cook it on low to medium flame one more important tip ratio of butter; all-purpose flour needs to be same to prepare white sauce pasta recipe

lots of my friends have asked me about the quantity of butter and flour to make the white sauce because some people add too much of flour and less of butter so the sauce turns out very thick and raw to avoid that keep the ratio same it will help to make your sauce lump-free and creamy the flour has been cooked well it’s been four mins I am cooking this

now we will start adding milk into it add milk slowly and keep mixing simultaneously so that there are no lumps in the sauce if you want you can turn the flame low I am using two cups of milk here after sometime sauce will start getting thicker but we have to cook a little more it is not yet perfect white creamy sauce we have to continuously cook it after removing all the lumps

so at this stage we will add some salt half a teaspoon of black pepper powder half teaspoon red chilli flakes half teaspoon mixed herbs seasoning mix everything well cook the sauce little more on a medium flame until it comes to a boil but how you will come to know at what stage you have to add pasta so for that,

one more important tip whenever you dip a spoon into the sauce and back of the spoon coats the sauce completely just like i am doing here this is the perfect consistency to add pasta follow this thumb rule consistency shouldn’t be very thick or very liquidy if your sauce is very thick it won’t coat pasta properly means your pasta won’t be able to cook properly in a very thick sauce that’s why sauce should be of perfect consistency to cook pasta

now add all the cooked veggies then add boiled pasta now toss everything well and cook it while stirring in between so that veggies and pasta gets coat well with the sauce and absorbs all the flavours if you find your sauce thicker, you can add two tablespoons of warm milk or regular milk we are going to cook it for 2-3 mins don’t overcook it otherwise it will get all mushy so, don’t overcook it

now I am adding everyone’s favourite ingredient-cheese I have used 3-4 tablespoon of grated cheese you can add as much quantity of cheese as you want because sometimes you deserve a treat for yourself whenever I make this pasta, I feel like let me have as much as I want today, will see about the diet from tomorrow does that kind of thoughts come in your mind too?
