We have taken 3 colors of capsicum and cut into big pieces of 1inch and1 onion also cut into big pieces.
I have taken 300gms paneer and cut into big cubes. 150gms curd and have removed the extra water.
- Salt 1tbs
- garam masala 1tbs
- chaat masala 1tbs
- 1 1/2tbs ginger garlic paste
- lemon juice 1tbs
- roasted gram flour 3tbs
- coriander powder 1tbs
- turmeric 1/2tbs
- Kashmiri red chili powder 1tbs
How To make paneer tikka masala recipe without oven
In a medium bowl put the hung curd, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, roasted gram flour, salt, garam masala, chaat masala, ginger-garlic paste, and lastly lemon juice. Mix everything well.
The paneer tikka masala is ready so lets put the capsicum in. I have taken capsicum and onion so let’s mix them nicely.
I have not added paneer because the paneer is soft and will break while mixing. The paneer masala is nicely coated on onion and capsicum so let’s add paneer as well.
Let’s mix these well but carefully with light hands so the paneer doesn’t break. I have made a thick masala because when we grill the paneer this will secrete water. You can mix it well with hands as well.
This has been mixed well and masala has coated paneer well. so put them in skewers. I will add the red capsicum first then green capsicum, onion, yellow capsicum, and then paneer and we will repeat the same.
Finally, add onion and this skewer is ready. Put it on a plate. I have made all the sticks so now let’s grill it. I am making this in a grill pan but you can make it in a simple nonstick pan as well. Let’s turn the gas on.
Put the tikka sticks in the pan. Lower the gas and grill on medium flame. Friends do be careful to make the paneer tikka masala thick and curd should not have water or else the curd will secrete water.
Now brush oil on top so that they don’t stick to the pan when we turn. so let’s turn them now. See how good they are grilling and if curd had water then it would have been watery and paneer would start breaking. Put oil on the sides as well.
This makes the paneer and capsicum to not stick. Let’s turn them over. I have grilled them from 3 sides so let’s grill the top as well. every paneer tikka masala has grilled well. I have grilled from all four sides.
Turn the gas off and serve them. Serve them with your favorite chutney. Paneer has turned perfect so try at home you will love it!
